Our flagship brand Boyne Valley Honey is part of our history. Founded in 1960 by the McCloskey family in Co. Louth with a desire to bring pure, natural honey to other families across Ireland.

Boyne Valley Honey quickly grew to become an iconic Irish brand and cupboard staple that generations of families have grown up with.

We are proud to remain Ireland's favourite honey and although we've grown a lot since 1960, all these years later our delicious honey is still packed in Drogheda close to the site of Old Mellifont Abbey, which takes its name from Fons Mellis - the Fountain of Honey!

Today our market leading range includes Boyne Valley Pure & Natural Honey, our Raw & Wildflower Honeys and world-renowned Manuka Honey.

Boyne Valley Irish Wildflower Honey is a premium small batch honey with a pure delicate flavour.

Sourced directly from Irish beekeepers across Ireland and harvested from Irish bees who gather their pollen and nectar from a range of native Irish wildflowers, it’s no surprise it’s a firm favourite with Irish consumers.

Pure Manuka New Zealand Honey

Manuka Honey is world renowned for its health & wellness properties and our Boyne Valley Manuka is full of natural goodness and natural antibacterial properties.

Dark amber in colour with a strong earthy flavour, sweet back notes and slightly medicinal aroma, our 100% certified Pure Manuka Honey is harvested from bees that collect pollen from the New Zealand Manuka bush.

Irish Wildflower Honey

Irish Wildflower Honey

Boyne Valley Irish Wildflower Honey is a premium small batch honey with a pure delicate flavour.

Sourced directly from Irish beekeepers from across the four corners of Ireland and harvested from Irish bees who gather their pollen and nectar from a range of native Irish wildflowers including Rapeseed, Clover, White Clover, Meadow Sweet, Honeywort, Raspberry, Willow Herb (from the Evening Primrose family). Thistle, Fruit Blossom and Dogwood.

It’s perfect for sweetening hot and cold beverages, drizzling over pancakes, spreading over scones or biscuits and using in all kinds of baking, from muffins to cakes and everything in between.
Raw Honey

Raw Honey

Raw honey is the most natural form of honey available. Gently filtered, our Raw Honey has a deliciously rich texture, retaining all its natural goodness. It is medium amber in colour and has a sweet, full bodied flavour with caramel notes.

Boyne Valley Raw Honey is not only delicious, it’s a phytonutrient powerhouse, packed full of antioxidants, as well as being antiviral and antifungal. It is best put to use drizzled on cooked foods, cakes, oats or whizzed into smoothie bowls!
Pure Manuka New Zealand Honey

Pure Manuka New Zealand Honey

Our 100% certified Pure Manuka Honey is harvested from bees that collect pollen from the New Zealand Manuka bush and is full of natural goodness and natural antibacterial properties.

The quality of our Manuka Honey is guaranteed through our rigorous sourcing and verified independent lab testing for methylglyoxal content. The higher the MG rating, the higher the antibacterial activity.

Our Manuka is available in 2 strengths: 100+ MG and 250+ MG and is dark amber in colour, with a strong earthy flavour, sweet back notes and a slightly medicinal aroma.
